Bateman has a band, a gig, a summer at the beach.
But can she get Satisfaction? When a four-girl,
one-guy rock group called The Mystery gets its first
gig at a club, it's not just a chance to perform,
it's also an opportunity to get out of the inner
city... and see what life is all about. Fresh out of
high school, the group spends the summer playing a
club in an exclusive beach resort. There they find
romance, adventure and, for lead singer Jennie Lee
(Bateman), a dilemma: to pursue her budding career
or return to school. Debbie Harry has a very small
cameo role in this film.
